Crew requirements

Deck crew should switch on exterior and courtesy lighting, prepare the entertaining areas, remove equipment and keep every deck dry and free from clutter.

When the lights do the work

After sunset a yacht stops being a white shape and becomes a lit one. Deck lighting, warm windows and underwater lights are among the most persuasive images in any charter or listing set, and they need to be shot in the narrow window when the sky still holds colour — much later and the hull disappears into black.
