Yachting Events & Regattas

Capture the Event. Preserve the Experience.

Photography and film for owner rendezvous, flotillas, regattas and multi-day yachting events—planned around the schedule and delivered while the experience is still unfolding.

Overview

One event. One coordinated visual team.

Marine events move quickly. Yachts arrive, owners reconnect, crews prepare, activities unfold across the water and the destination becomes part of the story. Yachting Image plans photography and film coverage around the complete event schedule so the important moments are documented without interrupting the experience.

From aerial fleet movements and dockside arrivals to owner activities, hospitality and closing celebrations, we create one organized visual library ready for websites, press, social media, owner communications and the promotion of the next event.

Featured case study

Horizon Power Catamarans Owners’ Rendezvous

Each year, Horizon Power Catamarans brings its owners together for an annual Rendezvous in The Bahamas. Part flotilla, part owner gathering and part destination experience, it gives owners the opportunity to cruise together, reconnect and build lasting relationships around life on the water.

Yachting Image documents the Rendezvous through photography, aerial coverage and film. Across arrivals, fleet movements, activities, hospitality and celebrations, our role is to preserve both the scale of the event and the personal moments that define the Horizon owner community.

The finished photographs and films give Horizon an annual record of the gathering and a coordinated content library for its website, social channels, owner communications, publicity and future Rendezvous promotion.

Process

How event coverage works

Coverage is planned with the organizer before the first yacht arrives, so every crew position, flight and delivery time follows the event schedule.

  1. Build the coverage plan

Agree the event’s priorities, audiences and deliverables, and the photography, aerial and film team they require.

  2. Map the schedule and locations

Place each crew position against the itinerary—marinas, anchorages, activities and shoreside venues.

  3. Coordinate access and logistics

Arrange support boats, drone permissions, travel, credentials and talent releases with the organizer in advance.

  4. Photograph and film the event

Cover arrivals, fleet movements, activities and hospitality as they happen, without interrupting the experience.

  5. Deliver priority selects during the event

Send agreed photographs and short edits on schedule, so social and owner communications keep pace with the event.

  6. Finish the complete organized library

Deliver the edited photographs, recap film and organized archive for publicity and the promotion of the next event.

Questions

Event coverage, answered

What kinds of yachting events do you cover?

We cover owner rendezvous, manufacturer events, regattas, flotillas, yacht-club gatherings, launches, boat-show activations and destination events.

Can you provide photography and video at the same event?

Yes. We build one coordinated team around the schedule, so photography, aerial work, interviews, social content and the recap film support one another.

Can content be delivered during the event?

Priority photographs and short-form edits can be scheduled for delivery during a multi-day event, with the complete organized library delivered afterward.

Do you travel with the fleet?

Coverage can be planned across marinas, yachts, support boats, shoreside activities and destination locations according to access, safety and the event schedule.

How early should coverage be planned?

Begin while the event schedule is still being developed, so access, talent releases, drone requirements, support boats, travel and priority delivery times can be coordinated.

Plan coverage around the complete event.

Share the dates, destinations, schedule and content priorities. We’ll build a coordinated photography and film plan around the experience.
