Production objective

Deep Blue was photographed and filmed off the west and south-west coasts of Antigua on 8 and 9 January 2025. The aim was to show a 55-metre Amels in charter use: under way against Antigua's hills, at anchor with her toy dock deployed, and with her sundeck and aft decks set and served by the crew.

The production

Green hills and open decks.

Running passes began in the early morning light off the south-west coast and continued on the second morning offshore. At anchor in a sheltered west-coast bay, the toys went in from a floating dock, guests rode the towables and jet skis, and the sundeck, bridge-deck and main-deck aft spaces were photographed set for drinks, lunch and breakfast.
